It was late at night, and I was working my way through a dismal swamp; how I came to be there is a question that only God can answer. I heared nothing but the sounds of my own movements, crickets chirpping, and owls hooting on the branches of dead trees covered in spanish moss. I was soaked in mud, and was farily scratched up due to the thorns and branches that I had come in contact with. I eventually found a path that led me out of the swamp, revealing the lights and sounds of a busy town. Upon my crossing the street and stepping foot on the sidewalk, no one seemed to take any notice of me. I meanderd through the town, and walked by a large window of a music shop. I thought about going in, but decided against it due to my apperence and stench. Instead, I just marveled at the guitars hanging on the walls. There was one in particular that I really wanted, but it appeared as though someone was taking it off the wall and heading torwards the check out counter. I felt a strong feeling of regret and anger. These emotions quickly disolved however, for who should come to stand beside me but Dr. Hannibal Lecter himself. He was staring at the same man I was. He and I slowly turned our heads torwards each other, and I felt a chill go down my spine. He smiled at me and said, “You appear to have lost your way some where young man. Go to the hotel over there in the corner and and purchase some new clothes.” He extracted $200 from a pocket in the jacket he was wearing, and slipped it into my numb hand. “I have business else where”, he informed me, “but perhaps we shall see each other again.” I took his advise and went to the hotel after changing into some clean clothes. I ordered a room on the second floor of the hotel. When I opened the elevator door, I saw the man that had bought the guitar I wanted curled in a ball, his hands trembleing in an attempt to caress the bloody pulp that was his face. Dr. Lector stood before me licking his chops in a care free manner, and handed me the guitar without a word, before leaving the elevator. Then I woke up.
